Overview
Bonetown is local territory for trade. Travel between the Vault and Bonetown is mostly on foot or by sand-skiff, and the route between them is a picked-over corridor of rusted pre-Crash shells. Its proximity makes it a frequent stop and a constant source of stealth-versus-diplomacy tension.

- Rattle Market: The settlement’s commerce and logistics district.
- Arena District: Public competition, entertainment, medical treatment, and reputation-building.
- The Slums: A poorly patrolled maze of alleys, gang-controlled passages, and repeatable combat encounters.
- Breakers Quarter: A heavily controlled processing and holding district.

- The Survivor’s Shell: Armor and protective clothing
- Vesper’s Reliquary: Clean water and small morale items
Dangers
- Toll-takers and patrols control the approaches.
- Violence is common in the arena and less-policed districts.
- Prices and information are often shaped by local power and reputation.
- Restricted areas can draw immediate attention from Bonetown’s guards.
Lore
Bonetown is the scavenger heartland’s dominant settlement. Its culture treats strength, spectacle, trade, and visible ownership as forms of authority. The town’s influence reaches well beyond its walls through patrols, tolls, caravan routes, and control of nearby commerce.
