Overview

Lady Tar owns Bonetown's Velvet Room and buys captives who meet her strict condition, temperament, and skill requirements for a fixed price.

Where to find

Lady Tar operates the Velvet Room in Bonetown. Select the establishment from the Bonetown location screen, then use the option to speak with her.

Schedule and availability

The Velvet Room is a nighttime location. It opens at 19:00 and closes at 07:00. Attempting to enter during the day produces a closed-location message.

Gameplay function

Lady Tar’s currently implemented transaction is buying captives from the player’s Vault. She pays a fixed 3,000 Credits, regardless of the captive’s calculated market value, but only accepts candidates who pass every configured requirement.

RequirementAccepted value
Trauma60 or lower
Relationship60 or lower
Libido30 or higher
Hand Play35 or higher
Oral Pleasure35 or higher
Domestic Work20 or higher

Selecting a candidate does not complete the sale immediately. The game first checks all six thresholds and reports each failed requirement. A passing candidate is removed from the Vault and the 3,000 Credits are added to the player’s resources.

Lady Tar does not currently sell captives to the player. Her dialogue directs buyers toward Vex at the Auction Block instead.

Character and dialogue

Lady Tar is characterized as a refined but ruthless independent operator who pays protection to Baron Marcus Cross. Her background data describes her as a former training-house operator who built the Velvet Room into a private establishment and cultivated an information network through its clientele.

The current repeat conversation offers two subjects:

  • Discussing captives opens her purchase flow.
  • Asking for information ends in a refusal because the player lacks a trusted introduction.

Her character data is configured for information brokerage, training, assignments, and additional private services, but those broader systems are not exposed as functioning player services in her current dialogue.

Lady Tar is marked as a potential quest giver in character data, but her available quest list is empty and the current dialogue does not start a quest.
