About the Game
What is Renegades Vault?
Renegades Vault is an adult post-apocalyptic management RPG where you rebuild power from a hidden desert Vault. You manage resources, upgrade your base, develop characters, trade, explore dangerous settlements, and make difficult choices in a harsh wasteland.
What kind of game is it?
It combines management simulation, RPG progression, resource survival, character development, trading, exploration, story choices, and mature adult themes.
What is the main goal?
Your long-term goal is to restore and expand the hidden Vault, especially its water systems, while building influence across the wasteland.
What is the setting?
The game takes place in the year 2210 after economic collapse, environmental disaster, drought, and resource wars reshaped the world.

Is Renegades Vault playable now?
Yes. Renegades Vault is currently playable in alpha. The game is still in development, but players can download, test, and follow its progress now.
What version is available?
The current public build listed on this site is v0.23.
How often is the game updated?
Updates arrive as development milestones are completed, with many updates focused on new content, systems, bug fixes, balance, UI, writing, or performance.
Is there a roadmap?
Yes. The roadmap shows the major systems, locations, characters, and content planned for future updates.
Gameplay
Is there combat?
Yes. Combat is part of the wider RPG systems, including turn-based encounters, character stats, stamina, health, equipment, and arena-related progression.
Is there base building?
Yes, though it is more accurate to call it Vault management. You restore, upgrade, and expand rooms inside the Vault, each with a specific purpose.
How important is water?
Water is one of the most important resources in Renegades Vault. It affects survival, trade, power, status, and long-term strategy.
Are there factions and settlements?
Yes. The world includes major settlements and regions such as the Vault, Bonetown, New Eden, Oasis, Rust Haven, the Scrapyard, and dangerous outer wasteland regions.
Is there a cheat version available?
Yes. A cheat version of Renegades Vault is available for Patreon users.
How do I open the cheat panel?
In the Vault Indoor scene, look at the top right of the screen. There is a clickable icon there that opens the cheat menu.
Download & Platforms
Where can I download the game?
You can download the current public version from the official direct download link. Official links are also shared through the website, Discord, and Patreon.
What platforms are supported?
Renegades Vault is currently developed for Windows PC. Other platforms are not the current priority while the game is still in active alpha development.
Will the game come to Steam?
Steam is a possible future goal, but the current focus is building the game, growing the community, and improving the public alpha.
Will save files work after future updates?
Save compatibility is handled on a best-effort basis during alpha. Some updates may require a new save when major systems change.

Does Renegades Vault have a wiki?
Yes. We have started deploying the wiki, with articles covering the game's world, systems, locations, factions, and terminology. More articles will be added as the game expands.
Where can I report bugs?
The best place to report bugs is the Discord bug-report channel. Include your game version, what happened, what you expected, and screenshots if possible.
